27 is the 27th release of 199X featuring two remixes and two original tracks ranging from deep house to chiptunes and hard trance.

This episode 27 has gone in several directions artistically speaking; firstly I only had the concept of Baby I'm Synching, the man looking out the window which then transformed into a person falling down a well while a camera watches from above. The falling person scene worked well as a cover art for being a dead centered image with a clear concept. Some might remember Tame Impala's Let It Happen music video for its striking resemblance. Thanks again Lord Kevin Parker.
Then we have the youtube video which is a completely different thing. I got my inspiration from games with heavy HUDs like Journey Man Project Turbo and Descent and applied audio synch to some elements so as to make the whole animation breathe with the music. Blender has a fantastic option called bake sound to F-curves were wave amplitube becomes an automated value modifier. If used well it can be a solid animation tool for music videos.
Not much else to say here.

Artisticamente hablando, hubieron muchísimas ideas de las cuales agarrarse. En primer lugar la imágen de la persona mirando por la ventana del colectivo que después mutó en esa misma persona cayendo por un pozo lentamente mientras una camara graba desde arriba en camara lenta, esa idea se convirtió en la tapa del episodio pero el video que acompaña el podcast es un concepto distinto inspirado en juegos con HUDs pesadas como el Journeyman Project Turbo o el Descent. La idea era modelar una especie de estación de comando donde varios elementos se moviesen con el ritmo de la música. Tengo que agradecer la opción de Blender que te permite automatizar valores con apmlitud de onda, hace que sincronizar audio con video sea una papa.
