Few things are as satisfying as finally doing an idea you had going around in your head, it's both liberating and stimulating to the soul. For this case the idea was pretty simple; a name and an image. Baby I'm Synching is a name both funny and emotional and if any DJ's are reading this I do take sides on the whole synch or no synch dilemma. I believe it should be as simple as this: Don't use synch, don't use synch unless there is no other option because it will turn you into a shitty DJ no matter how big your laser machines are. Now that I got that out of my system, Baby I'm Synching is all about the story of a DJ who gave up beatmatching so he would have more time to smile at the crowd but is slowly realizing he gave up the only thing that made him happy and now there is nothing left for him but long lonely nights on stage and even longer bus drives from gig to gig. The image responds to that story, a man looking out the window of a long distance bus lost in his thoughts.
The song itself is a pretty straightforward handbook deep house track with layered soft synthesizers and an evolving mood.
Baby I'm Synching might not be a hit but it's a bold message to a new generation of DJ's.

Una de las cosas que me encanta del mundo de la producción es poder llevar a la realidad las ideas que uno tiene. Cuanto mayor sea la habilidad técnica de uno mas fácil va a ser llegar a un resultado que se asemeje a esa idea.
Muchas veces esa idea inicia cómo una imágen y la melodía viene después y ese fue el caso de Baby I'm Synchig que mas allá del juego de palabras busca plasmar un sentimiento particular en el oyente.
