I'd been wanting to do this spaceship sleeping quarters scene for a while now and I had, for some reason, this image of a pool with light streaming out of it, then I just went on and searched vaporwave room and got this images of rooms with acrylic furniture, furry rags and 2000's macintosh computers, so I did that. Then I had this huge window in the room through which the character looked through and I had no idea what to put outside, it had to be space but I didn't want some nasa picture of the milky way so I went on newgrounds and found this pixel galaxy game were you had to avoid these red bombs with your mouse. I recorded the screen, made a loop out of it and pasted it on the outside of the window and voilá! I had my vaporwave space interior scene. I'm happy with it. It took about 30 hours to render the final shot on cycles but it worked out ok.
