On an interview Elvis Presley once answered when asked if rock n roll would stay for a long time that the same way the charleston or the baudville dance had a boom in popularity and quickly dissapeared afterwards that rock n roll could also be dead in ten years from then.

We got used to reading Rock is dead on street graffitis, and Trance is similar on this aspect, looking like it's a dying scene. Trance may be dead for the cool new deejays but in the music forums new trance tracks keep popping up showing that there is still a big interest in keeping this genre alive.
